Chapter One
The Wish
It was 10:00 PM in the lovely, sunny Southern California area. Isis Davis was sitting at her desk in her blue and white room, typing the finishing touches on her terribly grueling English essay. She was, once again, saving all her work for the last minute. When she had finally completed the essay, she glanced at the clock on her laptop screen, which read 10:27 PM. She had finished in a little over twenty minutes and decided to check her email.
When she opened up her email, she had only three new messages. She sighed, she hadn't been getting much email lately. One was from her friend, Aria, telling her that she got a new puppy and was naming it Yogi; the second was a one of those annoying chain letters; and the other was asking her what the homework was for today.
‘A little too late for that’ She thought to herself and deleted the homework related email. She then decided to watch some episodes of her favorite online mini-series, RedvsBlue.
She opened a new tab and went to youtube. She searched RedvsBlue episodes sixty-seven through seventy and proceeded to watched them. After she was done watching the videos she went back to her email and opened up the chain email.
It read:
"Have you ever wanted to make a wish? Close your eyes and say your wish aloud six times and then send this to six friends within six minutes. It's guaranteed to work!"
Isis tried it knowing it wouldn't work, but was so undoubtedly bored, she tried it just for fun.
She looked at the clock. It read 10:50. She turned and faced the moniter. She closed her eyes and made her wish, wishing for the one thing she really wanted at the moment. "I wish I was in the webshow Red vs Blue." She repeated that same sentence five more times, and then forwarded it to six of her friends. She looked back at the clock and saw it was 10:55. She watched some more RedvsBlue and went downstairs to get something to eat. She opened the refridgerator and sighed, there was never anything appetizing at this hour. She grabbed a poptart and flopped on the couch, consuming the delicious rectangle.
About ten minutes later, Isis' eyes began to feel heavy. She was tired, and needed to wake up early tomorrow morning if she was ever gonna started on that RedvsBlue fanfiction. She trudged upstairs after turning off all the lights, changed her clothes, and climbed into bed, slowly entering the blissful dreamworld...
