“Agent Austin,meet Agent Texas your new mentor.”
Austin stared up at his mentor. Since being integrated into Project Freelancer, he'd had some... intense experiences. Live fire exercises, on his first day, his dorm room door booby trapped and not to mention the situation with Miami.
Austin looked at Agent Texas again. Her dark red hair made a brilliant contrast with her bright green eyes. She had a small scar on her chin, but other than that seemed untouched. Jack could-- no he was Agent Austin now and was miles away from that shitless street orphan.
“I dont want him,” Texas looked at him with intense dislike. “I don't need a rookie to look after. Besides I work better alone.”
“I'm sorry you feel that way Agent Texas? Or is this Omega speaking for you?” The Councilor freaked Austin out. Although Austin had only met the Councilor two or three times before he was still unnerved by that cool, calm and collected voice. “But out of the 50 agents of Project Freelancer 40 have been assigned trainees. You are one of those 40. Is there a problem?”
Texas looked from the Councilor to Austin.
“No Councilor. There is no problem. I'll train him.” Texas indicated for Austin to follow her.
“Well Agent Austin you'd better turn out to be something special,” Texas said as they walked down the hallway. “Because if your not, you're gonna die trying to keep up with me.

Okay so this is my first chapter of Agent Austin fic. This was written 5 months ago and my writing wasn't as good as it is now (in my opinion)
Well this is my first attempt at a fanfic. Basically AnimalCops came up with the idea of each maine (get it? Main, maine? Oh my puns are funny.... right?)state having a trainee. So I thought what would happen if Tex got a trainee... Well here you go.
